The Great Mental Models Boxed Set

4.6 out of 5 stars (23)

Purchase options and add-ons

From the New York Times bestselling author of Clear Thinking and Farnam Street founder, Shane Parrish, comes The Great Mental Models, now available in a stunning hardcover boxed set

Time and time again, great thinkers such as Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett have credited their success to mental models—representations of how something works that can scale onto other fields.

Mastering a small number of mental models enables you to rapidly grasp new information, identify patterns others miss, and avoid the common mistakes that hold people back.
The Great Mental Models series walks you through the most versatile, all-purpose mental models you can use right away to improve your decision making and productivity, drawing on examples from history, business, art, and science.

For the first time available in a beautifully designed boxed set,
The Great Mental Models demystifies once elusive concepts and illuminates rich knowledge that traditional education overlooks. It makes the perfect gift for any enterprising, money-wise person in your life.

Poorer publishing quality
Quality much more poor than in previous publishing by latticework. See the contrast on photo of volume two next to each other. Older one is white paper and colorful, new one is yellowish paper and B&W and completely missing the photo of the paintings for example. And the box set box is also poorly made and broke during shipping.

the first volume is very good, and should be in a must read for leaders in organisations who are interested in developing greater self awareness and reducing risk in relation to decision making in their teams and organisations

Good deal. Individually, the books come up to $80 (plus tax), as they are not all priced the same (cheapest is $16, most expensive is $25) There is also a PDF of the unofficial 5th book, The psychology of Human Misjudgment, by Charlie Munger.

These books are $15 each. Getting all 4 would cost $60. This review is based 100% on value since it's seems silly to buy all 4 bundles for $95.
