Bulgaria wins Eurovision Song Contest, Finland's Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen in 6th place

The Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final was held today in Vienna, Austria. Finland's representatives Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen placed 6th with their song Liekinheitin.

A total of 25 countries performed in the Eurovision Grand Final, which were evaluated by the Finnish public and jury. The points from the Finnish professional jury were announced in the Eurovision broadcast by Eurovision veteran Jaana Pelkonen.

The composition of Finland's professional jury in 2026 was:

UMK27 in Tampere February 20, 2027

The next season of Contest for New Music UMK will begin as early as August. Song submissions are open from August 17–23, 2026. The UMK27 event will be held at Tampere's Nokia Arena on February 20, 2027.
