UN Secretary General is due to visit Finland in mid-June, where he will participate in President Sauli Niinistö's annual summer talks, due to take place from 17 – 18 June.

The theme of this year's discussion event on foreign and security policy is the future of the international community.

Guterres is expected to deliver closing remarks at the discussions on Monday afternoon. However the UN Secretary General will also hold one-on-one talks with President Niinistö during his visit.

Yle will broadcast the main discussion sessions live. Viewers can follow Sunday evening's discussions on Yle Areena, while Monday's debate will be aired on Yle TV 1.

President Niinistö introduced the annual foreign and security policy summer talks following his election to his first term in office in 2013. The annual summer summit gathers analysts, experts, diplomats and academics to discuss current security and foreign policy issues.
