Talks to find a new deal on pay and conditions continued on Tuesday after employees rejected an earlier offer made by the employers.
The new deal affects around 430-thousand local government employees.

New Pay Deal for Municipal Employees
Municipal employees will receive a 1.2 percent pay rise starting in May following an agreement reached on Tuesday. Additional increases of 0.8 percent will also be paid according to job sector.
