PM Katainen visits Estonia

Prime Minister Jyrki Katainen is travelling to Estonia on a working visit Monday. The Finnish premier is to meet with his Estonian counterpart, Andrus Ansip, as well as with President Toomas Hendrik Ilves in Tallinn.

Issues such as the strength of the euro currency and the EU’s financial framework for 2014-2020 feature on the two premiers’ discussion agenda. In addition, Katainen and Ansip are to talk about the future of the EU, transport and energy issues and bilateral relations.

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and his spouse are also to visit Estonia this week. The president will pay a state visit to Finland’s southern neighbour on Wednesday, following last week's visit to Sweden.
