Middle School in Finland under Lockdown

A middle school in Harjavalta, in southwestern Finland, is under lockdown. Students and teachers are inside the school and police are at the scene, according to the school's rector Kimmo Salokangas. He adds that no one is currently in any danger.

Salokangas refused to say why the doors to the school are locked. Police are expected to make an announcement shortly.

The school cancelled classes on Thursday following threats against a teacher and student.
