According to Outokumpu, the arrangements have been implemented to ensure its stainless steel deliveries to customers, as well as the import of raw material.

Some of its deliveries have been transferred to railway and road and transported via Sweden.

A stock exchange release from Outokumpu says that with these arrangements the company is able to continue the production of ferrochrome and stainless steel and ensure that customer deliveries are carried out as planned. It adds that at the moment it is expected that the financial impact from the strike will not be material.
