New gold deposits found in northern Finland

Australian mining company Dragon Mining has discovered a promising new area of gold deposits in the Northern Ostrobothnian town of Kuusamo.

The discovery was made through magnetic studies and drilling over the summer. The company plans to continue to expand its ore studies in the region, which appear to be paying off soon.

Dragon Mining is currently planning to open a gold mine in the town of Juomasuo, just 37 km north of Kuusamo.
