Finland’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja discussed the dispute between Finland and Russia over child custody cases with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Sunday.
Tuomioja met Lavrov on Sunday evening in Luxemburg, where both are attending a meeting for EU foreign ministers and Russia.
According to Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Russia has approved the bilateral meeting between Lavrov and Tuomioja.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to report on the discussions.
