Paperless prescriptions aim to make life easier for patients. Doctors will store prescriptions in a national database, which pharmacies can access with a patient’s personal health insurance card, the Kela card.

The city is assuring residents that e-prescriptions are safe as they never get lost and can't be forged.

Helsinki’s dental clinics are on track to abandon their paper prescriptions next spring.

People can access their prescriptions anytime online.
