Thousands of titles will be available via the HelMet website, which is teaming up with the IndieFlix streaming company to offer films via mobile phones, tablets and computers. Streaming occurs via the RDB Digital Gateway.
IndieFlix focuses on small independent productions, which are mainly in English or subtitled in English. More than 2,500 such films will be available to holders of the HelMet library card.
HelMet announced a similar deal to offer access to electronic versions of foreign magazines via the Zinio platform.
