While Kiss may have sometimes struggled over the decades, the group has mastered the art of corporate marketing and merchandising. The band - despite changes in fashion and their lineup - has reportedly sold more than 100 million albums worldwide during its 44 year lifespan.

The band's latest promotion in Finland involved four fans who won the chance to paint the large masks, as advertisement for the upcoming Kiss concert at Helsinki's Hartwall Arena on May 4.
