A member of the racist and fascist Blue-and-Black Movement has been fined for incitement against Jewish people.

On the party's website and other online platforms, the man has highlighted his background in the Finns Party and his interest in National Socialism. According to his social media profile, he remains a member of the Blue-and-Black Movement.

The Southwest Finland District Court sentenced the 36-year-old to 50 day-fines, totalling 1,650 euros.

In court, he admitted to burning an Israeli flag and posting a video of the act.

The movement officially returned to the list of political parties in May, having gathered the required 5,000 supporter cards needed for registration.

The group was previously removed from the register after the Supreme Administrative Court found its party programme to be incompatible with constitutional and human rights law.

The Blue-and-Black Movement was founded by a group of disgruntled former members of the Finns Party who held strong ethnonationalist views.
