Fewer than 20 percent of business leaders in the Nordic region think that AI technology has increased turnover at their companies, according to a report from consulting firm Deloitte.

On the other hand, nearly 80 percent of those leaders believe that AI has helped improve efficiency.

At the same time, the report found that the adoption of AI agents has been relatively slow in the Nordics.

AI agents are autonomous software systems that can make decisions and take actions to achieve specific goals without constant human intervention.

According to Deloitte, adoption of AI agents is being hampered by gaps in technological skills.

The findings in its report, State of AI in the Nordics 2026, were based on a survey of 170 senior executives from Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
