Minja Koskela of the Left Alliance is seen by Finns as the most successful leader of a parliamentary party, according to a poll by newsgroup Uutissuomalainen.
Fourteen percent of respondents named Koskela as the top performing party leader.
"Party leaders are expected to stand out, and Koskela has succeeded in this by positioning the Left Alliance clearly in opposition to 'debt brake' policies," Johanna Vuorelma of Tampere University told USU.
Second place went to Riikka Purra of the Finns Party with 12 percent support, while Sofia Virta of the Green League came third at 11 percent.
In October, Antti Lindtman of the Social Democrats and Purra topped the same poll with 12 percent each. Lindtman has now fallen to fifth place, with support at eight percent.
The survey, conducted in April by Tietoykkönen, polled 1,000 Finns and has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points both ways.
